Sandiganbayan grants Senator Bong to Visit Sick Father

MANILA - The Sandiganbayan has just granted Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla's petition to visit his father at the St. Luke’s hospital.

Revilla is detained at Camp Crame due to the pork barrel scandal and have asked for a five-hour furlough from 3-8 p.m. either Tuesday or Wednesday so he can visit his ailing father.

According to Atty. Raymund Fortun, the visit is important, as they believe that only the senator can convince his father to undergo a magnetic resonance imaging or MRI test to determine if he had suffered another stroke. TV Patrol - ABS-CBN last night reported that Sen. Bong's father has refused any medications which had roused deep concerns for the Revilla family.
