Based on the latest Manila Standard poll conducted last Jan. 20 to 27, Senator Manny Villar catches up with Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III in the Presidential race.
“There was a 10-point drop in voter preference for Aquino and a seven-point increase in voter preference for Villar, making the current standing a tight 36-to-34 for the frontrunners,” said Pedro Laylo Jr., resident pollster at the Standard Today. (source)
Currently, Aquino and Villar are the leading presidential candidate with Noynoy on the lead with 36% followed by Manny with 34% of poll votes.
Meanwhile,ousted president, Joseph Estrada got 13% putting him on the third place and administration candidate Gilbert Teodoro on the 4th place in the poll with 5%.
