Filipino-American Jason Aguilar Ivler was arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents Monday morning in his ow home at Blue Ridge A Subdivision in Quezon City.
An airconditioner and a used towel gave the NBI agents a hint that Ivler was just hiding in a stockroom under the stairs.
Ivler was the suspect in the killing of a Palace official’s son last November and has been hiding from the police for the past two months.
Before he was arrested, he was able to hit two operatives. On the other hand, Ivler was also shot on his right shoulder and left upper abdomen.
Both the operatives and Ivler were brought to the hospital and they were said to be in stable condition.
Aside from Ivler, his mom, the house staff of Ivler home as well as Ivler’s stepfather could face charges for hiding a nown criminal.
