Pacman is one of the World’s Highest-Paid Athletes

Manny Pacquiao, 2008’s Fighter of the Year, is not just the world’s best pound-for-pound boxer but also one of  World’s Highest-Paid Athletes.

This was reported in Forbes.com where Boxing Champ Manny Pacquiao also ranked 57 on  “The 2009 Celebrity 100.”

Manny tied with 2009 NBA Most Valuable Player LeBron James and golfer Phil Mickelson on the sixth spot where they raked in $40 million last year.

Manny’s recent fights with Oscar de la Hoya and Ricky Hatton generated more than $100 million in pay-per-view revenue in the US.

With his popularity, Pacman was able to get numerous endorsements including San Miguel and Nike.
