NBN whistleblower Rodolfo “Jun” Lozada was arrested for perjury by officers of the Manila Police District at La Salle Greenhills.
The arrest order was issued by a local court the day before. According to Lozada, he was prepared and would not post bail.
Lozada was Senate witness who bravely blew the whistle on the alleged bribery and overpricing in the aborted $329-million National Broadband Network deal between the Philippine government and China’s ZTE Corp.
