Filipino-American singer and Aeon Records’ recording artist Shane Ortiz narrated her bittersweet encounter with fellow kababayan, Ramiele Malubay at the United States airport.
The 18-year-old daughter of a Filipino cosmetologist and a Filipino bio-chemical engineer from Chicago saw the American Idol finalist Ramiele with her American boyfriend at the Florida Airport in Orlando, Florida late last year.
She purposely went to her direction and asked for a picture taking but Ramiele turned around and dragged her boyfriend away. She was left alone.
However, Ortiz is optimistic that Malubay will grant her wish the next time around.
