Bianca Lapuz was arrested Wednesday by policemen for an estafa case.
While sipping coffee at Eastwood City in Libis, Quezon City, Lapuz was arrested by Antipolo City police by virtue of a warrant issued by a trial court hearing the estafa case against Lapuz. The case was filed against the actress in 2005.
Lapuz explained that the estafa case involved P150,000 in cash that she borrowed for a friend who badly needed money thinking that the debt had been settled by her friend.
The actress who was Vhong Navarro’s former wife met face to face with the complainant at the station where Lapuz explained her side.
Lapuz was released after posting a P6,000 bail bond.
