Former Senator Ralph Recto is the newly appointed Director General of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).
Recto will take the place of Augusto Santos in the government economic team. Santos will return to his old post as deputy director general of NEDA after serving as acting chief of the socio-economic planning agency since last year.
Recto’s appointment paper was signed last July 10 and has been forwarded to the bicameral Commission on Appointments.
