Two French boys have been charged for for the rape of a 10-year-old girl that they recorded on video using a mobile phone.
The rape happened after the 11-year-old boy along with his 12-year old friend and his sister watched a pornographic film and decided to reproduce scenes from the movies.
The two boys from the Montfort-l’Amaury school in Versailles, outside Paris, recorded the rape and showed it to about 100 fellow students over a week.
They have been detained and are due to undergo psychological testing. Under French law, an individual cannot be sentenced to a jail term with age under 13, but may be ordered to do community work or face some other penalty.
