Filipino bantamweight Diosdado Gabi lost to NABO title holder Abner Mares of Mexico via second-round knockout.
Gabi was reported to be in bad condition after working out too much to make the 118-pound limit prior to the official weigh-in. But he failed to meet the limit by more than a pound.
