Wilfredo “Willie” Revillame and Floralice “Liz” Almoro’s marriage was declared null and void by presiding judge Elsa de Guzman of the Regional Trial Court Branch 89 of Quezon City.
The decision was released last February , Tuesday.
According to the court records, obtained by The STAR:
- The marriage is declared null and void on the ground of “psychological incapacity of both parties under Article 36 of the Family Code”.
- Both parties are restored to their single or unmarried status and petitioner’s prayer to revert and use her maiden name, Floralice Almoro, is granted.
- The custody of their son, Juamee remains with Liz, “with visitorial rights” from Willie who has been ordered by the court to give the boy a monthly sum of P150,000 as monthly support.
- The court also didn’t give credence to the claim of Liz “that she felt emotionally and psychologically abused when (Willie) denied her physical intimacy,” which usually triggered their fights. The court noted that Willie’s loss of sexual appetite “was due to his exhaustion from work…” and not to any extra-marital activity.
Willie Revillame and Liz Almoro were married in civil rites in Lipa City on March 9, 2005 and and then in church, at the Santuario de San Antonio Parish, Forbes Park, Makati City, on June 7, 2005.
On July 16, 2007, Almoro charged the Wowowee game show host which is her husband Willie for allegedly abusing her.
