Thousands of people mass up in the anti-Arroyo rally today in Makati represented by various militant, civil society, and Church organizations.
According to Supt. Gilbert Cruz of the Makati City Police the number of rallyists are about 6,000 as of 4:30 p.m. and among the among the groups who arrived first at the Ninoy Aquino Monument were the Concerned Citizens Group, Partido ng mga Manggagawa, Laban ng Masa, and Gabriela.
Some of the personalities present were former vice president Teofisto Guingona, former Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) head Armida Siguon-Reyna, and Fr Robert Reyes. Also the Members of the United Opposition led by Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay had also gathered at the Makati Fire Station.
The program, which started around 4 p.m., is expected to last up to 8 p.m.
