January 3, Thursday–A report from the ABS-CBN site says that DOJ website (www.doj.gov.ph) was hacked and visitors were redirected to the site of an amusement park in Sta. Rosa, Laguna known as Enchanted Kingdom.
Aside from DOJ there were two more government sites hacked and redirected to the same amusement park website.
The CIDG website (www.cidg.pnp.gov.ph), which has been inactive for quite sometime and the Information Technology and Electronic Commerce Council (www.itecc.gov.ph), was also redirected to Enchanted Kingdom website.
The CIDG’s Anti-Fraud and Computer Crime Division (AFCCD) is now investigating the incident of hacking on the private and government agencies and identify the motive of the hacking.
DOJ already coordinated with their hos, e-PLDT. The site is already restored to the agency’s website.
