2007 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Winners

January 5–The Metro Manila Film Festival 2007 Awards Night was held at SMX Convention Center in SM Mall of Asia.

Here are the winners of 2007 MMFF:

Best Picture: Resiklo produced by Imus Productions

2nd Best Picture: Sakal Sakali Saklolo produced by Star Cinema

3rd Best Picture: Enteng Kabisote 4 produced by M-ZET/Octo Arts Films

Best Actor: Jinggoy Estrada (Katas ng Saudi)

Best Actress: Maricel Soriano (Bahay Kubo)

Best Director:  Cesar Apolinario (Banal)

Best Supporting Actress: Eugene Domingo (Bahay Kubo)

Best Supporting Actor: Roi Vinzon (Resiklo)

Gatpuno Antonio J. Villegas Cultural Award: (tie) Bahay Kubo and Katas ng Saudi

Gender Sensitivity Award: Desperadas

Best Child Performer: Nash Aguas (Shake, Rattle & Roll 9)

Best Screenplay: Joey Reyes (Katas ng Saudi)

Best Editing: Resiklo

Best Cinematography: Resiklo

Best Music: Bahay Kubo The winners were  announced immediately without mentioning the nominees of each category.  The said awards night lasted for only less than one hour. Thsi si to give way for Lani Misalucha’s Concert.
