Supermodel Heidi Klum sued by Luxury Jeweler

German supermodel and television star Heidi Klum’s company was sued by luxury jeweler Van Cleef and Arpels claiming she copied a vintage clover jewelry design. Van Cleef and Arpels filed charges in Manhattan federal court seeking more than $25,000 in damages. Mouawad USA, another company she has designed jewelry for, was also included in the filed case. According to Van Cleef & Arpels both companies gained benefits form esteemed reputation by creating and selling a similar clover design.
