This is not a blog entry about Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo’s movie, this has something to do with my personal life… err my brother’s life.. our life.
Some might not be interested with what i’m going to say but it’s ok. I only want to blog about something.

My brother and his girlfriend were in a relationship for more or less 9 years.
According to my Kuya, they don’t have any plan yet of getting married. He wanted to save first and wait for my Ate to be promoted before tying the knot.
Last Summer my Ate joined us in our vacation to Nueva Ecija, where my Aguela (Lola) asked them when are they planning to get married for she might not be able to see her great grandson.
That forced them (i think) to think about it and planned a simple wedding on the month of December.

I thought I will be free from any worries because it’s their wedding. But I was wrong. I think I played a great role when it comes to wedding giveaways, invitations and the last minute rush.
* STD (Save the Date) Months have been wasted just doing this STD. To think this is not yet their invitation.
*Wedding Invitations. Wedding invitation with an “s.” There were more than 2 designs for the invitation. The first design was used as misalette, the second design was not used, the third and fourth design were distributed a month before the wedding.
*Wedding giveaways/souvenirs/tokens/keepsake. A handfan for those who attended the mass, perfume (for men and women), CDs (with their favorite songs), and a decorative clock for the godparents. Every thing was personalized.
* Unity Candle. My brother made their unity candle.
* Luminaries/Well Wishers/Guestbook/Wedding AVP. All made by my Kuya. He’s so artistic and very creative.
*Food. The food were cooked by our titos and titas. We hired a catering service but we prefer preparing our own food for the reception. There were plenty of food served.
Doing your own invitation, giveaways and other wedding materials can save you a lot of money..

Wedding is over. My Ate and Kuya are now living with us. Not because they don’t have money for their house. It’s just for practicality. My Ate is working in Manila, my brother is busy with his business and having a new house will be a waste of money. They only need a room to rest and spend a day or two together.
The good thing here is, we’ll be able to use their wedding gifts hahaha. Just kidding.

Hahahaha! Ang kulet nung huli mong sentence. Salbahe. Uyy, ang ganda naman ng invitation. Baket ako di nabigyan nyan?
Daya! Sayang talaga hindi ako nakapunta.
