Suicide Bomber Kills 17 in Afghanistan

In Kabul Afghanistan, a suicide bomber blew himself in a busy marketplace.

According to officials, suicide bomber aimed a NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) patrol in a busy souk. 17 were killed and at least 30 were wounded including seven Western soldiers.

Provincial police chief, Gen. Qassim Khan said schoolchildren were among those wounded. Furthermore, NATO’s spokesperson said that seven of their troops were also wounded in the detonation.
